The book, If: A Father's Advice to His Son, was a classic poem with modern pictures that make it easy for almost anyone to understand. I would suggest this book to a reader of about 8-10 years, because although it may be a picture book with large print, I think to a kid of any lesser age, the inspirational poem would have no meaning to it. I would recommend this book to anyone because the classic words are meaningful in a way to help you succeed in life. Charles R. Smith did an excellent job matching the photos with the words.

I recommend this book to 8-10 year olds because I think kids of lesser age would probably not understand the inspirational value of the book. Also, it has large print and clear pictures.
