This non-fiction book is about a crew of men who try to find the island of Tahiti on a ship called The Bounty. In the process, they mutiny against their captain. They don't want to go back to England because they would be hung if they did. Soon, they found Tahiti and fell in love with it. However, they move to another island so that they wouldn't be found by the English government. They find a small island and then burn The Bounty. The legend of the mutiny on the Bounty was passed down from generation to generation.
I would recommend this book to 10 to 13 year old children because it is very educational and historical.
