Debon, Nicholas. The Strongest Man in the World: Louis Cyr. Groundwood Books: 2007. ISBN: 9780888997319.
In this non-fiction book, old and ailing Louis Cyr tells his daughter the work, hardships, and feats that he accomplished throughout his life to get where he is. Eventually, he comes to the conclusion that great strength isn't all it's cracked up to be.
I would recommend this book to 2nd-5th graders. It is well written and illustrated, easy to read, and the art is orginal, but a bit blurry.
