Ylvisaker, Anne. Lake Erie. Mankato, MN: Capstone Press, 2004. ISBN: 0-7368-2208-9.
This book tells about Lake Erie and how it has changed over the years. It tells about how it got its name and why. It also discusses how the lake formed, Kelleys Island, Lake Erie's people, Niagra Falls, water highways, pollution, and how the lake is today. It has fast facts and internet sites too. This is a very good book and you learn a lot from reading it. I think this book is good for age 8 and up. Even adults would enjoy this book or someone who just wants to learn about Lake Erie's history.
