Kimmel, Eric A.. Rip Van Winkle's Return. New York: Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 2007. ISBN: 978-0-374-36308-6.
Rip Van Winkle was a man in the 1600's. While other men worked, Rip would fish. All of the children in town loved Rip, but his wife did not really like him. One day Rip was in the woods and sat down and fell asleep for 20 years. When he woke up his life would be changed forever. I did not like this book, it was boring and lacked detail. I would recommend it to 1st - 4th grade, but I would not buy this book.
