Rylant, Cynthia. Blair, Mary. Walt Disney's Cinderella. Disney Press: 2007. ISBN: 9781423104216.
This is a retold story of Cinderella, a girl who's life is changed by the help of her fairy god-mother. She starts out as a poor servant girl for her evil step-mother and step-sisters. when the prince wants to find a wife, he holds a ball for every girl in the kingdom. When Cinderella isn't allowed to go, her fairy godmother helps her. Cinderella and the prince fall in love at the ball but their fun is cut short at midnight when Cinderella turns back from a beautiful princess to a servant.
This was a very good retelling. The illustrations were very soft and nice to look at. I recommend this book for all ages (who doesn't love Cinderella?).
