Cherish Today: A Celebration of Life's Moments

Evans, Kristina. Collier, Bryan. Cherish Today: A Celebration of Life's Moments. Hyperion Books for Children: 2007. ISBN: 9780786808182.

This book is about a girl who graduates from school and is outside in the real world. She feels proud of herself and she begins to explore things. However, she has no friends with her to back her up. She is confused but finds a way to make things better for herself. She needs to pick the path in life that she'll take and not listen or fall under peer pressure. This book shows that life is not always easy and one shouldn't worry about what's to come, but cherish each moment.
I thought this was an interesting book, but it was not funny or serious. It explains how life will be later in life when you go out on your own and have choices to make. This was a very educational book and I think it should be for ages 5-9 years old.
