Clarke, Jane. Kennedy, Anne. The Best of Both Nests. Albert Whitman & Company: 2007. ISBN: 9780807506684.
In the book The Best of Both Nests, Stanley is faced with a problem. His parents are fighting and he just wants it to stop. This problem was solved by his parents living in different nests. Another problem comes up later. Father's Flyday Friday is coming up and Stanley's father might not be able to make it. In the end, Stanley makes a good friend and realizes that two nests are not so bad after all. In fact, it is a little bit cool!
I would recommend this book to 1st through 3rd graders. I thought this book had a good subject and an important moral story. I thought the illustrations were awesome! They helped explain Stanley's feelings along with the situations at hand.
