Sled Dogs

This book was really just about what sled dogs are and how they train to become a sled dog. It also tells about the 1925 disease that came over the town of Nome and the struggle to get the medication to Nome. The book also tells about the Iditarod and some of the racers and dog teams. I really enjoyed this book because I love animals, especially sled dogs. I think that children who have a love for animals will really appreciate this book. I recommend this book to ages 4-8.
