Gibbons, Gail. Galaxies, Galaxies!. New York: Holiday House, 2007. ISBN:09780823420025.The book was overall good. I liked that it included facts about galaxies and other things. Some of the facts in the book I didn't know about, which made it interesting to me. But some of the facts were kind of too much. Like facts little kids won't like or think are interesting. Then the book also got off topic. It's supposed to be about galaxies, but it was talking about telescopes, ancient Romans, and a couple other things that were off topic. The pictures did go along great with what he was saying. The pictures were a variety of paints which made it look unique and pretty. Overall it was good. I would say that this book should be recommended for 3rd graders through 4th or 5th graders. The pictures were a variety of paints you wouldn't normally see in a book.
