Sea Horses

Otfinoski, Steven. Sea Horses. Marshall Cavendish Benchmark: 2008. ISBN: 9780761425298.

This non-fiction, children's book is about sea horses. Sea Horses is a book that gives you an in-depth but somewhat simple description of the life of sea horses. It talks about their mating season, how they hunt for food, and how the father is like a mother to the baby sea horses. This book also talks about the dangers of being a sea horse and how people are endangering them. The pictures in Sea Horses are very bright and colorful. They also relate to what the story is talking about. Also, the glossary in the back of the book is very helpful.
Sea Horses is a book that has tons of information but is kind of boring. I would recommend this book to 5th through 8th graders.
