Muscle Cars
Bailey, Katharine. Muscle Cars. New York: Crabtree Publishing, 2007. ISBN:13:978-0-7787-3010-1
This books tells about muscle cars dating back from 1939 to 2006. The text describes the engines and how the engine worked. The book also told about some of the history of the cars. The book also tells why some cars were made having a certain body style. I liked how the photographs were detailed and how there were mostly easy words. The captions explained what was in the picture quite nicely too. I would recommend this book to kids between grades 4 and 8 and to all kids who like cars. There is enough information to be able to do a report on some cars but if you just want to learn about cars you can read it for fun.
