They are very well-painted and exciting. This book is about a little girl who thinks she needs a horse for everything. So for her birthday she receives a "horse" but she soon realizes it will be harder taming her horse than she thought. I think this book would be good for younger girls because of all the pink, pretty, and horse themed ideas in the story. I think girls from ages 4-7 would most enjoy this book.
