Gersheter, Phillis. Sky Sweeper. Farrar Straus and Giroux: 2007. ISBN: 9780374370077. Ages: 7 to 10.

The story Sky Sweeper is mostly about a boy who likes to sweep, but by the time the boy is 12 years old, his parents won't stop bothering him. His artwork looked a little cartoonish and a little real life-ish. I like the whole book because everything he did is so interesting.

John Adams: Our Second President

Collard, Sneed R. John Adams: Our Second President. Marshall Cavendish Benchmark: 2007. ISBN: 9780761421597. Ages: 20 to 50.

John Adams was our second President of the United States. The work he did was a lot of work in the late 1700s to 1800s. It was hard to do work then. The art is very good because they look so real to me. I think that the pictures were from photographs they found. I think that adults should read this book because it is a very good book. It was cool when he was by the seas. I like this book. It is very good for an adult to read. It is very interesting to read. It is so good. I can't believe that the book is so good. I love it. I gave it 49 stars!

Out and About at the Greenhouse

Kemper, Bitsy. Out and About at the Greenhouse. Picture Window Books: 2007. ISBN: 9781404822795. Ages: 2nd grade to 5th grade.

This book is about some kids that go to a greenhouse and a guy gives them a tour. He tells them about the peoples' jobs and what they do and if some plants need more sun or more water. The drawings are very colorful and they look like cartoons. It is also very bright in the greenhouse. My favorite part in the story was when everybody got to take home a plant. I recommend it to olther kids, like my sister Lucie. Maybe 7 to 10 year olds.
