How the Nobble Was Finally Found

Williams, C.K., and Stephen Gammell. How the Nobble Was Finally Found. Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. 2009. ISBN:9780152054601

The book How the Nobble Was Finally Found is about a Nobble that lived in the place of nowhere. Then one day, the Nobble no longer wanted to be by himself and decided to go into town. In town, there were too many cars and there was a girl that wanted to keep the Nobble. The girl kept chasing him and he continued to run away. Eventually the Nobble made a friend. The illustrations in the book How the Nobble Was Finally Found are really pale. The Nobble has black hair that sticks up and green feet. The Nobble is very scary and freaky. The girl Nobble has green hands and blue feet. Everything is broken and they both have one shoe on and one shoe off. Both Nobbles have two different color wings. It is very crazy and it seems like the wings are water painted. My favorite part in the book is when the Nobble gets a friend and gets to give a phone to her. I would recommend How the Noble Was Finally Found to third graders because it is funny and has lots of words. Although it is a little scary, it is hilarious too.
