Unexplained: An Encyclopedia of Curious Phenomena, Strange Superstitions, and Ancient Mysteries

Allen, Judy. Unexplained: An Encyclopedia of Curious Phenomena, Strange Superstitions, and Ancient Mysteries. Kingfisher: 2006. ISBN: 0-7534-5950-7. Ages 8 and up.

Unexplained is a good, scary book that kept me on the edge of my seat. It mentions Stonehenge, UFO sightings, hauntings and much more. This is a non-fiction book that talks about things that are, well, unexplained. The writing focuses on things that people have always wondered about using creepy adjectives and a rhyme or two. In this book, there are photographs and painting alike, contributed by different sources. In the end, I would recommend this book. I would not recommend it to someone who does not believe in ghosts or mysteries because they would not enjoy this book as much.
