The book is about where the Formula One racing started and how it has improved over the years. The pictures looked like they would be in that time. The old pictures look black and dark and the new photos look very colorful. I really liked the book but some times I did not understand what the author was trying to say. Yes, I would recommend it for 8 years and up.
