Humpty Dumpty

Delessert, Etienne. Humpty Dumpty. Illustrated by the author. Houghton Mifflin: 2006. Ages 6 to 12.

This story is about Humpty Dumpty having everything he wanted and not sharing it with the people on the other side of the fence. The people on the other side of the fence only had a dim light to see with and they lived in dirty living quarters. The people on the other side of the fence wanted to see what was on Humpty's side. When Humpty saw them, he made a wall but fell off before he finished it. The art is spectacular, colorful, and dramatic. I loved this book because it had a lot of color. I would recommend this book to kids ages 6 to 12.
