Feet Man and Mr. Tiny

Freschet, Gina. Feet Man and Mr. Tiny. Illustrated by author. Farrar Straus Giroux: 2006. Ages 6 to 10.

There is a boy named Feet Man and he hates his feet. He hates his feet because people make fun of him. So, one day, he found a little man called Mr. Tiny. He helped Feet Man find an advantage for his feet. The next day, they got the newspaper and found an article about a prize if a shoe will not fit. Feet Man won, and the prize was a vacation to the beach. Finally, Feet Man went in the water, did a dance, and he was admired. The art in this book was bright. There were very good illustrations. I recommend this book to smaller children, ages 6 to 10. I think the title is too simple though, for kids 6 to 10, that is a fine title.
