It is a non-fiction book about the buffalo's past with the Indians and pioneers, as well as, where they are now. It is made up of mostly facts with interesting events involving buffalo. It is told by trappers and Indians. The author used many comparisons to help the reader understand all the aspects of buffalo. The images are both photographs and drawings from various sources. The pictures give interesting views of how the pages are actually true. This book is suitable for anyone who likes animals, Indians, or the old west.
