Evans, Lezlie. Can You Greet the Whole Wide World? : 12 Common Phrases in 12 Different Languages. Illustrated by Denis Roche. Houghton Mifflin: 2006. Ages 3 to 6.
My story is about saying words in different languages in different countries. It is handy because if you go to a different country, you know how to say "good morning" or "thank you". There were many fabulous pictures. They gave me a clue what was going on if someone like me skims this book. I would definitely recommend this book to other kids. I think grades 3 to 6 would enjoy this book because of the words and pictures.
