Pitzer, Susanna. Not Afraid of Dogs. Illustrated by Larry Day. Walker and Company: 2006. Ages 5-11.
Not Afraid of Dogs, is about a boy named Daniel. He says he's not afraid of anything not even dogs. His sister Jenny knows he is. When Daniel gets home his mom is holding a dog. He says he will be in his room. Then during the night he has to go to the restroom. So he goes and the dog is there. He figures out that the dog isn't harmful. The art work was excellent. The pictures were brightened up. The colors were bright not dull. The pictures were great. I do recommend this book to other kids. I recommend this book because it's hilarious. I also know a lot of kids could relate to this book. This book was superb.
