The Cat with the Yellow Star: Coming of Age in Terezin was about how Jews were treated badly and all about their religion. Some Jews got bad diseases and died from it. They stuck it out and passed the time away by singing and doing art. They used a lot of adjectives to describe how they felt. Ela Weissberger was one of many people who experienced this, so she used a lot of adjectives. The pictures were from back then so they did not create them for the book. She decided to put these in because they are what it was like back then. I recommend this book to people who are bad to others of different religions. I also recommend this book to young adults. It is very interesting and you can learn a lot.
