At the Controls: Questioning Video and Computer Games

Andersen, Neil. At the Controls : Questioning Video and Computer Games. Mankato, Minn.: Capstone Press, 2007. ISBN: 978-0-7368-6768-9

This book is about the author's point of view about multiple types of games. It includes why games have advertisements on the game play. Why some games have different game play. It talks about what a mod is. It tells about some of the workers that work on making a game and what they do. Another topic that it includes is that you can go online to a forum which is other people's ideas about the game. This book also tells about a thing called an Easter egg hunt which is a hidden level or items that are normally hard to find. It also includes a cool timeline and so many other cool ideas. It is an all around good book. I recommend it for ages 11 and up.
