This book is a great imaginative, yet true, journey of a girl named Rupa and her gradmother. Rupa learns the many uses of a sari and gets a special gift. This book shows that grandmothers are also people of culture. I think My Dadima Wears a Sari is a great childrens book full of beautiful water colors and a journey where one learns a grandmothers culture and her own.
