Bateman, Teresa. Fiona's Luck. Watertown, MA: Charlesbridge, 2007. ISBN: 978-1-57091-651-9.
Fiona's Luck is a fiction story about leprechauns who live in a land abundant in luck. But when giants move in, it is thought that they will take up all of the luck and the leprechauns decide to take all of the luck that the land has and lock it up in a chest in the kingdom. When a giant girl named Fiona decides to try to get the luck back, she has to outsmart the king. I think that the book Fiona's Luck is a cool story that has a great moral. I love the great illustrations that are in it and how detailed the pictures are. The age range that I think this book is appropriate for is second grade and up.
