We Are the Earth is about the world and the young generation. It is also about energy that we get from the sun and the amazing animals. We can learn about the earth's amazing gifts to us. the illustrations are photographs of children enjoying the world. The world is shown to look like a little marble far away in space. the illustrations also show animals up close, like endangered animals such as elephants, leopards, sea turtles, and tuataras. I really enjoyed the whole book and I learned so much from it. It really was a good book. I would recommend this book to 3rd graders and up because there are a lot of hard words that 1st and 2nd graders don't know yet.
