Dot in Larryland
Marx, Patricia. Dot in Larryland. Macmillan. 2009. ISBN: 9781599901817.
In Dot in Larryland, Dot is going exploring and is trying to find a friend. She walks in between raindrops and goes through the blade of grass tower and I like how the author put "just to reach here took her one hour." That makes sense because Dot is small. Next Larry tries to find a friend but he can't find one. So in the end Dot and Larry become best friends.
The illustrations are water paints and a little bit of everything. I like how the illustrator did the title because it's very funky. It's different hand writing. And in one of the illustrations I like how the illustrator did the M and the G. The M was cool because it was 3-D. The sand part was cool also.
My favorite part was: "We interrupt this story to bring you the intermission!"
