Sylvia Jean is a pig scout who is trying to earn her good-deed badge. Her plan is to help her neighbor Mrs. Van Hooven who had broken her ankle, but Sylvia is banned from visiting her neighbor. So she thinks of an idea to dress up and secretly visit Mrs. Van Hooven. This book shows dedication to achieving goals. The pictures in this book are full of color. I liked this book because it shows how you can set your goals and even if something gets in your way you can achieve them. If you are not of younger age you would lose interest fast. I think more of younger kids would enjoy this book around the ages of 5-8.
