This is a fictional book about an elephant who is sad because his friend is not there. Once he is dressed as a cowboy, and then a clown, he becomes happy. The pictures are funny because he dresses like a clown. My favorite part is when he was dressed like a cowboy and a clown. I would recommend this book to first graders. I thought this was a great book.
