Stewart, Melissa. How do Birds Fly? Marshall Cavendish Benchmark: 2007. ISBN: 9780761421108. Ages: 6 to 18.
This story is about how birds fly. Birds fly by using their wings. The feathers help them soar through the sky. The vane and shaft help them fly, too. The book had more artwork than photographs. I think they put more artwork in the book because they wanted to spend more time on it than less time. My favorite part in the book is the two long-eared owl chicks. I recommend it for other kids, boys and girls. I think kids should start reading at about 6 years old. It is about all different kinds of birds, such as owls, blue jays, and geese.
