Wow! School!

This book is non-fiction and is about a girl that is going to school. The pictures are colorful and bright. My favorite part is when she saw her teacher. I would recommend this book to first graders. I thought this was a great book.

My story is about apples; it tells the history of apples. It has a lot of drawings of apples. I liked the part when the Swiss man got arrested because he failed to shoot a German's hat, so they tied his son up to a tree and he shot an apple off his head.

Comets, Stars, the Moon and Mars is about the planets of the galaxy. It has neat rhymes. It also has good pictures. It also has some surprises in it. The art has a a lot of dark colors in it. My favorite part is the sun part. I recommend it to kids 8 to 12 years old or maybe higher.

Inventing the Electric Light is about different kinds of shapes of light bulbs. There are so many light bulbs. The switch turns on the light bulb. My favorite part is when all the lights turn colors. They turn: yellow, purple, orange, blue, pink, green, brown, white, red, black, light blue and gray. I gave it 4 stars!

My story is about a boy who lives in a library. They play in the library. The book is all artwork. It looks like Carla Morris used a lot of paint. I think this is great for kids. My favorite illustration is when the boy drops his bugs from his field trip. My other favorite illustration is when the old lady is copying things. I love this book!

This story is about interesting things in Asia. In Asia there are different countries. The Indian Ocean is the southern border of Asia. The photographs in this book show cities, landforms, and people. Some photographs show interesting buildings and beaches. I love this book. It makes me want to visit Asia. My favorite photograph is on page 5 where it shows the Indian Ocean. It would be a great book for kids! I gave it 4 stars!

Explore Antarctica is about Antarctica. It has pictures of the land, animals, and plants of Antarctica. It has drawings of where Antarctica is, the seas surrounding Antarctica and Antarctica's ice shelves. The pictures show Antarctica's plants, animals and land. My favorite part is about the animals. Kids will like the pictures. I recommend it for 2nd graders up through 8th graders. 2nd graders through 5th/6th graders will like it the most.

The story is really about two bears that visit each other a lot at the zoo. Their friend visited them and gave them a present, so they think they are supposed to give gifts when they visit. So they decide to visit someone and when they did, their gift was a bush. I like this book! The book I read had artwork. I really thought that there were a lot of colors! It looks like cartoons. My favorite part if this book was when they broke out of the zoo. It would win best book for kids!

Wind Flyers

This is a story of long ago and it is about a young boy who wanted to be a wind flyer. The artist did a really great job on the artwork. I like the ones on pages 21 and 22. I give it 10 stars! I recommend it to my cousin Tyler. He loves cars, trucks, airplanes, and lots of stuff.

At Home in the Desert is a non-ficiton book about the desert. In the desert, it does not rain very often. There are air conditioners in their houses and school buses. When it does rain, it changes. The pictures are very good. One page has flowers on it. My favorite part was the flowers. I would recommend this book to 1st graders.

Beauty and the Beaks

Beauty and the Beaks is about one girl named Beauty and she owns a beauty shop that is named The Chichens. There is one new turkey that is selfish because he was the only one invited to the feast, but he doesn't know that he is the feast. So the chickens try to help him and make him be a chicken, like them, so he won't get eaten. In the pictures, they wear colorful high heels. Their skin is so colorful, just like their high heels. I do recommend this book to other kids. My favorite part in Beauty and the Beaks was when the hen leader collapsed. There are no certain ages.

My story is about Australia. It has a little bit about Oceania. It is a really good book! I think this book would be good for people who like Australia and Oceania! The photographs in this book look just perfect! They have a lot of blue in them; they also have a lot of green and brown! My favorite part in thisbook is all the fish! They were so colorful! I think this book would be good for 4th grade- high school!

My book was about how robots work and help scientists. It is a great book, 5 stars. This book is great for people that like robots. The photographs were amazing. The photographer got a good angle of each photo. Two thumbs up. My favorite part is when they talk about the robot dog. I recommend this book to anybody that enjoys robots. Ages 5 and under will not like this book.

This book is about a mother bear who raises her cubs and teaches them how to hug. In the middle they see a mean bear who tries to hurt the baby bears. At the end the baby bears grow up and go find their own land and mates. The roof of the cave where they were born collapses. I think the art was very beautiful. You can really see what is happening. I recommend this book for kids who like animals especially bears, and are between the ages of 7 and 10.

This book is about baseball. It tells you about baseball like it was back then. The uniforms, names, and rules all changed. As the book goes on, the art on the pages look like they are getting newer every time. Like as baseball gets older the uniforms and names of the team change and the rules change too because they're coming up with new ideas. My opinion about this book is if you like baseball you should read it. It tells you how the names, uniforms, and rules changed. Learning how the rules were back then was my favorite part.

This is a book about a family who lived at the cemetery during the Civil War. The husband went to the war and the rest of his family had to move away. The pictures have so much detail. They are so beautiful and serious. They look so real. The book is really good. I think other kids will like it. My favorite part was when the family had to move away. I think people who like to study about wars will like it. 10 and up.

Home Now is a book about a girl who moved. Her name is Sieta. Sieta makes a friend, an elephant! Sieta played in the forest with the elephant until her friend had to go home. The next day, Sieta made a new friend, a human friend. The pictures are pretty, painted with children, a town and houses. The pictures have mixed colors and yellows, grays, violet, hot pink, and blue. My favorite part is when Sieta plays with the elephant. I recommend it to people that like stories that are calm.

Robot Brains is about robots and robot microchips (brains). The interesting thing about this book is that it has so many robots that help hold things, talk, walk, get food for you and more! All the photographs have so much detail. It shows you what a robot brain chip is, too. The robots could move, talk, and be your servant. This book is so cool for other kids to look at and if college people want to be scientists this is a great book for it. I don't know what books you like but I like this book.

I would recommend this book to Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn is in the first grade and she likes dogs. I think this is a great book.

I would recommend this book to my friends and family and everybody in the whole world. I would recommend this book because it is colorful, beautiful, and creative.

Vinnie and Abraham

Vinnie and Abraham is about a young girl who is very sweet, has lots of friends, and very adventurous. She is very nice and she loves to draw and sing. Her family is very poor. I found that the book was very exciting yet calm. The art in my book is wonderful. I noticed that the illustrator used green a lot. I mostly loved the pictures. Vinnie is very pretty because of the way her hair is and the way it's drawn. The pictures seemed exciting and not at all boring. Because I love to draw and when I tried to draw the pictures it really made the illustrator's picture look a whole lot more exciting. I loved that book. I actually would say it is my favorite picture book. My favorite part was the end. I would say other kids would like it. Maybe around 9 through 13 or 14 is the age of kids that would like it.

I like the drawings on page 14 and 15 becase the blue and the brown make the green stand out. One problem with the people in the water is that it does not show their hands or feet in the water.

This story is about Kate Millet and how she was going to be a model for John Singer Sargent's painting Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose. But then she wasn't because the modeling for the painting was going to Polly and Dolly. Then it was put into Tate Gallery. The art was beautiful. The colors that stood out to me were magenta, pink, bue violet, jade, red, rose, gray, purple, and lavender. All of the story was just spectacular. I recommend it to anyone.

Tankers are big and cool. The Robosaurus is my favorite part. Fifth grade and up can read the book.

The way people filed into the superdome and made shoes out of cardboard and rubberbands. The way they were living on the highway. I found it interesting reading about the way people failed to escape.

The coolest picture is the battle scene. The knights are cool, too. My favorite part is when the bear gets the evil king. I love the action. I would recommend this book to one of my friends in Neton.

I recommend this book to kids who like knights and stuff. Some words are hard to read. If you can understand the words, you will love this book. I loved it.

This book was full of funny things that happened at the Olympics. It took place back a lot of years until not too long ago. It's about both summer and winter olympics. It has a lot of events and different activities. The pictures in this book are hilarious, and they're not like scribbles, they're really funny pictures. The pictures are funny, funky, silly, cartoonish, and black and white. There are really good pictures in this book that go along with the titles and words. This was a good, funny, cartoonish, silly book. My favorite part is "Me Tarzan...you lose." I do recommend it for kids 10-18 years old.

The book has a lot of projects. They have to do with bugs and animals. The animals are chimes and whirligigs that will blow and make noises in the wind. You use keys, bows, washers, and lots more. The projects looks like they will turn out really great. The art has something that makes me really want to make it. The colors of the art look and expres their feelings. I think that this book is glorious. It has a lot of fun and creative pictures. They looked like they were not very messy. Everything was so colorful. The wind dragon was a little scary, but other than that they were very nice and could be fun for all ages depending on their personality.

It also gives you a good idea what the pizza will look like in the end. The photographs are very colorful. I think this book is great. I like how it makes it fun and easy to make the pizza. I think the age range would be from about 8 years old to 11 years old. I do recommend it to other kids. I think it will interest kids that like to cook or bake.

The story is about two Hebrew people who have a son, but they want to give him away or else he will be drowned. They decided to put the baby in a basket and send it down the river. The art is very pretty and beautiful. It is very nice to look at pictures that took place a long time ago. My favorite part is where it has a picture of the young prince of Egypt, Moses, so you can see what he was wearing as a prince. Like I said, I recommend it to people of all ages becuse it is about what Moses did.

Santa Claws is a fictional book about two monsters, named Mack and Zack, who want a potion kit, a vampire bat, and a new game called trap the rat. The illustrations are water colors and ink. They are very detailed pictures. My favorite part is when they make "poisonberry pies, crusty cookies topped with flies, and eggnog mixed with spider feet, in case Ol' Claws should want a treat." I would recommend this book to a first grader who likes funny rhyming books.

The Animals Watched is a fictional book about animals getting on a boat because there was going to be a flood. I like the way the illustrations are colored. My favorite was when the animals were getting off of the ark. I would recommend this book to people in the first, second and third grade because it is easy.

Flower to Honey is a non-fiction book about bees that teach us how to make honey. Some people, like me, eat the honey comb with the honey. The queen bee lays eggs. The workers collect nector. Orange blossoms make blossom honey. The illustrations are honey and bees and flowers. My favorite part is when the bees make honey. I would recommend this book to my sister.

123 I Can Sculpt is a non-fiction book about making cool stuff, like animals. The illustrations are photographs. My favorite part was making a snake. I would recommend this book to Mrs. Boehr.

Let it Shine

Let it Shine is a non-fiction book of three songs. The songs are "This Little Light of Mine," "Oh, When the Saints Go Marching In," and "He has the Whole World in His Hands." The illustration are paper colors. My favorite part was the last song because I know the motions to it. I would recommend this book to a second grader.

Lightship

Lightship is a non-fiction book about how a lightship helps a big ship through the fog. The illustrations are made out of water colors. It has a lot of details. My favorite part is when the lightship helps the big ship. I would recommend this book to a first grader that likes ships.

Little Neighbors of Sunnyside Street is a fictional book about cows, bugs, bears, and being happy. The illustrations are happy cows, bugs and bears. I did not have a favorite part of this book. I would recommend this book to my baby cousin.
