Cook, Sally. Hey Batta Batta Swing!: The Wild Old Days of Baseball. Illustrated by Ross MacDonald. M.K. McElderry Books: 2007. ISBN: 9781416912071. Ages 2 and up.

This book is about baseball. It tells you about baseball like it was back then. The uniforms, names, and rules all changed. As the book goes on, the art on the pages look like they are getting newer every time. Like as baseball gets older the uniforms and names of the team change and the rules change too because they're coming up with new ideas. My opinion about this book is if you like baseball you should read it. It tells you how the names, uniforms, and rules changed. Learning how the rules were back then was my favorite part.
